‘ARTe’ is an amalgamation of the English word ‘Art’, and Malay word, specifically Perak slang ‘Ate’ which translated as a conversation starter. ‘ARTe’ uses the concept of a book chapter as a platform for art enthusiasts to express their inner-creativity in the form of literacy conjecture. Originally, this book chapters and state-of-the-art reviews are invited for publications. It also hopes to enhance the culture of research and academic publication among academicians and artists for international recognition. It is our pleasure to announce that the first ever volume of ARTe is now published.
